I hate to leave perfectly good paint on a Pallet to dry out... So I usually smear it on a piece of paper to use as a warm up in my next session... It's always a surprise what comes up!! And I almost always LOVE it because it's a mixture of my fav colors! ..... Perfectly imperfect!! Xxoo -Vanessa

A secret treasure in a vintage pillow!

I found such an amazing cool pillow today at Farmgirl antiques in Milwaukee today... Well I brought all my cool things home... And was going to take the inside "pillow" out and replace with a newer one... Well as I was seam ripping.. I FOUND A SURPRISE ! ...inside!! A good
one!! It was filled with the cutest vintage scraps!! So clean, and bright!
I gasped! It was so fun!! I am thinking of soooo many projects to use them on! ( collaged Easter eggs.. Sewn to a tshirt InStrips, or make beads? )It kind of freeing... Because I don't have to dip In my regular stash!! Lol some of you might understand this... what do you think I should use them on?

just a short blog update:,,,well ....here is what my studio/art room looked like last year... I actually liked it!! but its become cramped again...Tomorrow I will begin ripping the entire thing apart... moving the whole desk to the other side...purging things that I dont think I will ever use in my art... hope this will put a jump start on my fantastic year of creating!! I have signed up for FIVE classes!! whew!! im so excited! stay tuned!!
